Let’s Ride

Welcome!

We are so excited to have you visit our site here at Dun Buckin’ Ranch. Please check out the following lessons and packages listed below. We work with ages 8 and up. This includes adults of all ages. No horse experience is needed to start.

In order to focus on each rider and to be able to give more one-on-one instruction to each person, all of our lessons are in a small group setting. Each lesson may consist of up to four riders. Depending on the need of the rider and their abilities and/or riding level, a lesson may start as a one-on-one and then progress to a small group of up to four riders in the lesson.

Here at DBR we like to give the ‘What”, “How” and “Why’s” of riding and horsemanship. Keeping a small group lesson helps us to maintain that quality in each session. Private lessons are offered depending on schedule availability.

We can’t wait to meet you and start with you in your journey of learning to ride horses. Here at DBR we have multiple horses that love attention and can’t wait to meet you and/or your child. You can get a sneak peek at some of our herd by visiting our Meet the Gang page.

If you are looking for training and tune ups for you and your horse please check out our “Back on Track” options below.

Please reach out to us with any questions you may have. We would love to connect with you.

FALL LESSONS WILL RESUME IN SEPTEMBER

Due to high lesson demands and very committed riders, ALL lessons are currently full. We would still love to talk with you about our lesson program and give you information for possible future lessons.

If you would like to be put on our waiting list, please click the button below. Depending on the lesson times you are looking for, the wait time could be short or it could be months before there is an opening. We can not guaranty what the the wait time will be.

We apologize for the inconvenience of a full schedule. We seek to provide quality and personalized lessons for all our riders. Therefore we strive to keep lessons in smaller groups vs a large group environment. With smaller group lessons and very commitment riders, this gives us limited spots for lessons at this time.

Lessons are offered during:

Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday: Times may vary depending on season

Fridays are reserved for offsite lessons

Saturday, Sunday and Monday: Closed

**Lessons run seasonally. DBR is closed for regular riding lessons/programs from mid-May to mid-September. As well, we are closed the month of December through the first week in January. **

**Times vary depending on the time of year and weather.**

Here at DBR we are here to help you and your horse get “Back on Track”. We love reconnecting owners to their horses and getting the bond starting again. To help with some unwanted behaviors to make for a happier horse and human.

Each session is customized to the needs of you and your horse. Horses can come to DBR (no overnights at this time) or we can come to you. We recommend getting the evaluation session to get started. This will allow all parties to put together a plan that will best suit both the horse and yourself.

This will include time with you to go over goals for you and your horse, meeting the horse, basic ground work and possible light riding if able or appropriate at the time.
